Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová

And here we have Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová. Their music was in the movie Once.. I don't know anything about it but they won the oscar for the song Slowly Falling. If you haven't already heard it, you should. It's a sweet song and quite enjoyable. Oh and only bad part about them is that, if you listen to too much of them they kind of start to sound like Damien Rice/Lisa Hannigan wannabe's. Even though those two broke up in 07. So anyway, Slowly Falling= good song!

STRICKEN CITY

Okay so this first post is going to be about music of course. Music being one of the very few things I love in life! So this is Stricken City and they definately a different sound.. kinda synth/pop. The lead singer is Rebekah Raa. and not that i have anything against girl vocalists but I'm not really into girls being lead singers most of the time. This... is one of the exceptions. Not really indie but definately indie sounding. Anyway, Youtube the band Stricken City- Tak o Tak and you will see exactly what I mean. Hopefully.
